Tuesday, February 7th, there will be a vigil beginning at 6:00 pm in front of City Hall in Olympia. The vigil is sponsored and coordinated by the interfaith clergy and faith leaders of the Olympia area. The purpose is to stand with and support the Mayor of Olympia as well as the City Council. We want to thank them for declaring Olympia a sanctuary city as well as signing the Charter for Compassion.
All are welcome and encouraged to join in this show of support! If you would like to find out more about the Charter for Compassion, here’s the link: https://olycompassion.org/
Please feel free to share it with others so we can join together in making a clear statement to support all people—and a big ‘thank you’ to our city leaders who have also shown their support of all people as well!
