First Christian Church is co-sponsoring an event with the Black Alliance of Thurston County and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Olympia. We will be having a Watch Night Service on Sunday, Dec. 31st from 3:45-6:30 with a discussion of how we do more for social justice in our community.
The Gathering, a monthly program co-hosted by the Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II and Jonathan WIlson-Hartgrove, will host a special Watch Night Service to highlight key issues of the Poor People’s Campain, hear from impacted people across the nation, and announce plans for a mass Moral March in February.
The Rev. Dr. William J. Barber, II and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove co-host a program to equip communities with resources for faithful reflection and public action on moreal issues. Join us at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 2315 Division St. NW, Olympia, WA 98502, for a late afternoon event for community, discussion and to bring in 2018 with a resolution to move forward together, not one step back. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
