An amazing group called Journey to Justice, is organizing a bike ride from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, California.  They will be on their 2nd leg of the journey, from Tacoma to Olympia on Thursday, August 2nd.  The plan is for the riders to arrive by 5pm in Sylvester Park.

• We are inviting the community to join us at Sylvester Park on Thursday afternoon/evening. Signs welcoming the riders and supporting immigration and refugees are welcome!
• We are inviting everyone to join us for a pot luck supper following the welcome at the park. We are just down the street from the park, so folks can bring their contribution to the pot luck,  join us for a welcome celebration and we will get the chance to hear from some of the riders about why they are doing this and what immigration means to them and their families!
