Traveling Life's Journey Together
We are committed to honoring and supporting the life journey of each member of the group. We know
that each person is traveling his/her own journey and that no two journeys are alike. We pledge to
support each other no matter where that journey may lead or where along the road you may find
yourself. Come, join us and know that we will walk beside you as you travel your life journey.
Disciples Women's Ministries - meets the first Wed. of each month.
The purpose of Disciple Women's ministries is:
To plan and work for development in the Christian living and Christian service of all women of the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, education, and
creative ministries in a changing world.
To help bring the women of the Church into closer fellowship with one another and with Christian women
everywhere.
To provide leadership development and guidance for women. to enable women to affirm themselves and
develop a sense of personal responsibility for their ministry to the whole mission of the Church of
Jesus Christ.
A brown bag luncheon is held the first Wednesday of each month for fellowship, program, service
and worship.
The prayer chain is for persons in the congregation to engage in praying for an individual or family needing prayers. When there is a death, critical illness or other concern, a member of the family may want to activate the prayer chain. The reasons for asking for prayer do not need to be given unless you so desire.
To initiate the prayer chain during daytime office hours, please call the church office.
Is the opportunity we have each month to recognize a particular area of need and a service organization that addresses it. During the month you are invited to contribute financially to that months mission. The purpose is to develop a better understanding of our missional needs both globally as well as locally.
