Board Minutes

December 16, 2009

Those attending:  Robert Smith, Karen Nye, Mark Wilson, Rachel Crum, Jim Brown, Brenda Hatcher and Judy Gregorius.

Devotion:  Karen Nye

The meeting was devoted to discussion of selection of a person to serve as a part-time, interim clergy until a planter pastor is selected.

General decisions made:

• Fill the pulpit some Sundays with laity
• Maximum funds to be used will be $1200.  Maximum hours 40 hours per month.

Members present prioritized names from a list provided by the Transition Team.  Karen will contact the first person on that list and then go on to the second one if necessary.

 We plan to meet last week of December or first week of January to make a final decision.

Brenda Hatcher will serve as recorder in January to substitute for Judy Gregorius who will be out of town..
